Earlier this year, the new Ontario government promised to consult more with parents about sex education and other issues in our public schools. Recently, they launched a parent consultation website at https://www.ontario.ca/page/for-the-parents to gather this information.
If you are a concerned parent, this is your opportunity to share your thoughts on public education with elected officials.
It is important that all concerned Ontarians provide input to the curriculum, as well as encourage a relevant, realistic, and long-term solution. PEACE has provided an open submission that has been favourably received during a number of sit-down meetings with MPPs. Our position is outlined in the video on this page.
