In the fall of 2015, the Ontario government will put in place a revised Health and Physical Development curriculum for all public schools in the province. There’s a lot of controversy about this decision and like many others you probably have a lot of questions, such as
- What’s all the fuss about this new curriculum?
- Why are they making changes?
- What do they plan to teach?
- Is this the same curriculum that got strongly criticized back in 2010?
- As a parent, will I get a say in this?
- What can I do about it?
P.E.A.C.E. has worked hard to provide answers to these and other questions you may have. The videos, resources and materials on our website have been created to inform you with the facts you need and the tools you can use to not only protect your parental rights when it comes to your child’s education, but also to be a positive influence in your school and community.
We welcome you to watch our overview video on the homepage or check out our freely downloadable resources. If you would like to learn more or arrange a visit with P.E.A.C.E. in your local community, contact us at info@peaceontario.com or (905) 869 6334.
